Who can forget the lanky one aka, La Sausage? Arsenal captain for 3 all-too-brief seasons, before his head was turned by Real Madrid ovetures and finally left in 2005 after 9 long years of excellent service. Arsenal’s stalwart till the very end, he was reported to have quarrelled with Ruud Van Horseface in the players tunnel at the recent Euros 08, never forgetting the equineline’s attempt to get him sent off in the 2004 infamous Battle of Old Trafford.
